Job Description

Job Title : AREA BUSINESS MANAGER
Reporting To : MANAGING DIRECTOR / DIRECTOR / BUSINESS HEAD
Roles &Responsibilities:-
Area Business Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the stores and in achieving the overall profitability of the stores under him. Serves as the member of the management team in ensuring organizational effectiveness through leadership roles. Working with the management team, the position contributes to the development and implementation of company strategies and polices.
1. MAXIMIZE SALES POTENTIAL

Ensure the sales targets of all the stores are achieved every month
Set daily/weekly/monthly targets for stores
Analyze Results Staff results & Merchandise Productivity & take necessary steps on those results
Effective Implementation of Sales Promotions
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE

Device and implement measures to increase customer satisfaction level
3. DEVELOPMENT OF PEOPLE

Train / Develop / Motivate Staff
Counsel & Discipline the staff
Evaluate staff Performance and take appropriate steps
4. LEADERSHIP

Coordinate, manage and monitor the works of various stores
Communication (Up/Down & Laterally with Peers)
Creates a Positive Environment / Attitude
Team Player & Builder (within own stores& with all other departments)
Pro-Active Looks ahead and plans for it
Displays strong Time Management skills
Displays effective Delegation skills
Design and Implement In-Store Contests / Incentives with prior approval from management
Develop and execute Action Plans for store / staff with prior approval from management
5. VISUAL PRESENTATION

Timely & effective Implementation & Adaptation of Company directives
Proper Signage is used and placed visibly
Stores maintenance
Product Mix & Levels are Monitored & Needs are reported
6. OPERATIONS

Compliance to Company Policies & Procedures
Compliance to Directions from the management
Transfer of staff among various stores
Compliance to local rules and regulations
Open / Close the store based on company requirements.
7. LOSS PREVENTION

Prevent all kinds of internal and external losses
8. ADMINISTRATION

Formulate and improve policies and processes for the stores in support of organizational objectives
Manage administrative and statutory aspects of the stores
Assist in recruitment and placement of required staff; establishment of organizational structure; delegation of tasks and accountability. Establish work schedules.
9. PROFITABILITY

Increase the profitability of all the stores assigned.
Other specifications:
Experience working within the jewelry industry in similar position
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and have working knowledge of basic office operations
Strong and concise communication skills, both oral and written in Hindi and English
Ability to act with diplomacy and patience under pressure
Team player mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Should a multi-tasker
Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays and retail hours
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Male candidates above 35 years and below 50 years of age are eligible to apply.

Salary: - AED 10,000-12,000 per month (Gross)
Basic Salary- 50% of the Gross Salary
HRA- 25% of the Gross Salary
Transport Allowance- 5% of the Gross Salary
Food Allowance- 10% of the Gross Salary
Overtime- 10% of the Gross Salary
Gross Salary- AED 10,000 12,000
Food will be available in the dining hall. Accommodation & Transportation included in the package
Working Hours
(Travelling time will not be included in working hours)- 11 hours. 10 hours + 1 hour lunch break
Experience: - 15 to 20 years (Min 5 years in jewelry industry in similar role recently)
Qualification : Any Graduate/PG/MBA
Tenure of Visa : 2 years (Renewable)
Employment Status : Full time
