Job Description
ResponsibilitiesTaking a 'design brief' to understand requirements and conceptualising design concepts, graphics and layouts
Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, , type and style and submitting them for approval.
Working creatively to produce original and aesthetically pleasing designs, visual effects and animations.
Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
Ensuring proofs are of good quality and in line with production specifications.
Identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions
Coordinating with outside agencies, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
Designing interfaces for websites as well as iOS & Android applications
Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop etc.
Working with art and creative teams to select audio, video, colours, animation, etc. for graphic design.
Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques.
Prepare complete projects through the use of printing, typesetting and similar design equipment. May also work with print-related vendors.
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
Requirements
Experience as a graphic designer or in related field.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
Experience in creating wireframes, Ad/Web banners, logo, and brochures.
A strong eye for visual composition.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can articulate ideas.
You have strong writing skills and a keen eye to ensure that the content is free from errors and complies with editorial style and guidelines.
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines .
