Education: Graduation in any stream (with diploma/training in software development courses is preferred for non-IT engg. graduates)
Experience (years): 5 to 7 years
Industry / Technology background: Software Development (any domain)
Location: Mumbai
Working Hours: Full Time
Required Key Functions
Primary responsibility is to development of JS code.
Key Objectives:
Design (low level), Develop, unit test high quality JS code. Competencies Essential:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
GITHub or any other version control tool Proactive attitude to problem resolution.
Work on agile based projects.
- Able to perform a detailed Impact analysis.
- Capable to perform code reviews and provide code to optimise performance of the application.
- Able to perform Estimation for the project.
- Able to understand wireframes and give suggestions for improvement of the same.

- JavaScript 4+yrs
- Ext JS 5/6 2+ yrs
- JSON 2+ yrs
- Design Patterns (MVC, MVVM)- 2+ yrs
Desirable: Technologies, Hands-on Experience(Years) & Priority :
- Object Oriented Javascript 2+yrs
- CSS 2+ yrs
- HTML 5 -2+ yrs
- Experience of working with the Scrum Agile development methodology 2+ 2 Any JS Build Tools 1+ yrs
- Jasmine/Sencha Test for Testing or any other TDD, BDD for Testing 1+ yrs
- Knowledge of Restful Architecture 1+ yrs
- Experience of working with mixed onshore/offshore development teams -2+yrs
- Experience of working under a formal Quality Management System
- Experience of working on an Defect / Requirement Management Tool (eg: Jira, Mingle)
- Able to perform root cause analysis of problems and identify a solution to the problem.
- Able to suggest improvements to a User Story and communicate these to required stakeholders (Product Owners / Business Analyst)
- Work flexibly and imaginatively in a changing and evolving project environment. Responsibilities We are into a business to build great solutions using the latest technologies based around a Ruby & Ext JS architecture.
- The first project for the team will be mobilizing our core Policing solution to enable police officers to do their job without returning to the office.
- The team is currently 20 - 25 in , but it will grow. Youll be working in a team that will showcase to the rest of Northgate Public Services new technologies and new ways of working. You will be a JS specialist working in this team.
Key responsibilities include :-
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Business Analysts and Product Owners to resolve requirements gaps and conflicts.
- Develop high quality software.
- Create and execute comprehensive Unit Tests on developed software
- Work effectively in a dynamic Agile software development environment
- Promptly escalate issues which cause personal or team development to fall outside of agreed quality or timescale tolerances and to actively contribute to their resolution.
- Pro-actively suggest and implement agreed process improvements that enhance the performance, productivity and morale of the team.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes that enhance the performance and quality of personal and team deliverables.
- Work flexibly and imaginatively in a changing and evolving project environment.
- Should be a good team player and should be able to mentor and train other team members
