Job Description

About the Role Primary responsibilities include negotiation, review, create and execute the contracts (low to medium risk products and/or services) and populate key legal terms and business terms in favor of Wells Fargo and safeguard the bank from any risks and obligations. Also, perform compliance check at various phases of contract life cycle.
Support RFx activities including selection criteria and apply fundamentals of issue based problem solving and supports efforts to structure and analyze issues. Architect and operate catalog and contract compliance processes. Also, architect and operate reporting aligned to cost savings initiatives.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Sourcing strategies for complex engagements or initiatives, and leads both supplier selection and contract negotiations for high risk and complex services
  • Maintains a deep understanding of complex or strategically important supplier relationships, category knowledge and industry information.
  • Help in standardization and harmonization of processes best practices across function and locations
  • Works with senior management and key stakeholders across the LOB and enterprise to determine the longterm needs and applicable strategies, represents and advocates SCM strategies and goals in crossenterprise initiatives and teams
  • Identifies and drives process and service improvement opportunities
  • Manages responsibilities through a matrix organization, taking direction from multiple senior leaders in support of various high visibility issues/ initiatives.
  • Collaborates with executives to align business priorities and establish strategic business objectives.
  • Provides input and leadership into the development of business reviews.
  • Proactively identifies and escalates contract risk-related issues, and identifies and creates alternative contract language to mitigate risks (financial, operational, and reputational).
  • Act in a leadership role or as a team lead by attending key meetings and providing day-to-day directions or support to others.
  • Works with business partners to identify and drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) process improvements to reduce costs

Essential Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business or related discipline (15years of Professional Education).
  • 10 years of experience in professional services sourcing, consulting and vendor management.
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts
  • Comprehensive sourcing and contract negotiation experience with professional services or contingent workforce suppliers.
  • Knowledge in supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
