Devops Automation Engineer @ PrimeSoft

Desired Candidate Profile

PrimeSoft is seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer with solid hands on experience in PowerShell, C# and Microsoft Azure cloud platform. This role will be pivotal to process improvements and automation to improve overall operational efficiency in applications and infrastructure management. DevOps Automation Engineer will be responsible for building, managing and supporting various components and services offered in Azure in a high-availability cloud environment. The desired candidate is expected to perform all or most of the following activities:

The desired candidate shall be a self-starter and can work independently on identified platforms and take ownership of the process automation activities
Responsible for understanding and analyzing the existing operating procedures and optimize the process workflows using automation techniques
Design, develop and deploy Azure application solutions
Define and document the design of functionality using use cases, process workflows as necessary

Education: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M. Tech / M.S / MCA

Years of Experience: 4 to 6 years

Mandatory Skills:
Good understanding of SDLC including Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Deployment and Production Support
2 3 years of application development experience in C#, .NET, PowerShell, SQL etc. is mandatory; Experience with any other scripting languages will be a plus
Good understanding of REST, Web Hooks, HTTP protocol and JSON/XML.
Experience with the Azure Portal, Azure PowerShell, ARM templates, and related technologies are required
Automation of Azure Infrastructure services is desired
Experience with TFS / VSTS for source code management is preferred
Proactive in learning new tools and technologies, as necessary to create PoC / solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication is desired
Ability to work in a fast paced Agile / Scrum project environment with frequently changing priorities and stringent deadlines
Azure or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certification is a plus
