As part of the Cloud & Lifecycle Management organization (CLM), our mission is to offer standardized tools and services for managing the lifecycle of SAP solutions spanning the complete portfolio of products.
Role
As a Developer/Associate Developer within the CLM Application Management Team you take over accountability for excellent execution of SAP s Cloud strategy. You will be dealing with the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting. In your role as Developer/Associate Developer you will work closely with international colleagues together on development projects with the following activities:
- Design appealing and sustainable solutions for cloud operations using test-driven methodology.
- Perform agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for cloud operations.
- Develop UIs and APIs.
- Expectations
- Work in a cross-functional team of talented colleagues as a good team player, following agile methodologies. No shyness regarding code reviews and pair programming.
- Full-stack development of new Kubernetes based services to orchestrate and provision new solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of the new solutions
- Participate in the operations of the service following the DevOps principles
Role Requirements
- Bachelor or master degree in computer science or related technical discipline
- Experience in full-stack development with knowledge of Go, Java Script, JSON, REST/ODATA and SQL
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, React, AngularJS or a similar modern UI framework
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience in developing BTP Applications is a plus
- Knowledge of agile development and DevOps methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile team
- Experience in using cloud infrastructures and services therein, e.g. with SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus
