Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the real estate project, including pre-construction activities, construction administration, and post-construction. Understands the firms goals and priorities and ensures that all project consultants are in line with these goals. Manage the human resources according to the target capacity, budget, time frame, and quality of the project. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, etc to determine the specifications of the project With respect to operational matters, ensure communications, resolution of issues and Engineering, project management and the development. Ensure the development of SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) practices and oversee compliance with those practices. To keep the CEO fully informed of the conduct of the day-to day operations of the towards the achievement of its established goals and of all the operation deviations from the goals or objectives and policies established Select vendors and suppliers for the project Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities Supervise the work of agencies, PMC and on site teams and give them guidance when needed Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports Represent the company in various seminars and exhibitions and be the face of the organization. Desired Candidate Profile Proven experience as construction project manager Experience in both line and staff functions: strategy, planning, customer care, Project/ Delivery management, Operations In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Good knowledge of MS Projects and ERP systems Familiarity with construction/ project management software Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities
