Job Description
Summary: In this role, you will collaborate with members of the L&D team and members of the business to move concepts from ideation to delivery. You will divide your time between training and facilitation, designing ILT/VILT learning content and participating in departmental initiatives and projects.
You are highly reliable and organized, technically savvy, love to drive change and performance within an organization, and thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
You will build, facilitate, train, and lead virtual and instructor-led seminars, workshops and programs. You will deliver business skills, management and leadership classes, design lesson plans and curricula, review training materials and use different training methods based on adult learning best practices, the audience and intended goals.
Responsibilities
- In person and virtual delivery of business skills, leadership and management training
- Design 2-4 hour virtual and in-person training classes
- Implement follow-up and learning re-enforcement tools to augment in person training
- Assist in creation, refinement and implementation of leadership and management training
- Proactively communicate to learners through LMS, SharePoint, and email
- Update and maintain LMS completion records
- Monitor training effectiveness through Kirkpatrick assessment levels
- Identify blended learning opportunities, and assist with eLearning selection
- Audits and researches outside trainers determining viability

- Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development with emphasis on soft or business skill development.
- Experience designing virtual and instructor led learning experiences
- Subject matter knowledge in leadership theories and talent management principles
- Superior demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Ability to effectively present information to executive management, large and small groups of employees
- Ability to travel (when this happens again) Most training scheduled well in advance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in education, organizational development, organizational behavior preferred.
- Experience working in a corporate environment with emphasis on professional development; concentration in leadership development.
- Certification in one or more leadership development courses, DiSC, Situational Leadership, Crucial Conversations, Change Management, Conflict Management, PROSCI, etc.
