Job Description

SAP Commerce Cloud - Second Line Running Operation.
Experience level
Ideally a candidate has several years of experience in supporting SAP Hybris/CCV2 with good End to End flow and setup knowledge. (SAP4HANA, PO, DataHub, Integration)
Passion
A typical candidate has a strong focus and strong own opinions on stability, resilience, structure and procedures.
Team player
A typical candidate can cooperate with various other teams in analyzing and solving incidents as well as keeping documentation up to date.
Persistency
It is essential that a 2nd Level supporter does not leave tickets open or un-addressed but instead sticks to the issue until root-cause is identified and fixed.
It is expected that the 2nd line supporter can act as a driver securing cross functional progress.
Deep Diver
A typical 2nd Line supporter has the ability to acquire deep and complete knowledge on various fields of complexity as they occur and feels happy to do that again and again.
Teacher
A good 2nd line supporter likes to share knowledge with other team members and is able to help less experienced team members in an efficient and positively minded way.
Communication
The candidate must be able to explain complex situations in a simple and clear language that can be given to other non- technical teams and partners, and can be understood, using suitable abstractions, real world examples as well as established project language.
Excellent communication in English is important and experience in incident management is an advantage.
Analysis skills
A good 2nd level supporter is experienced in using various tools for trouble-shooting problem and has a very strong analytical mind and loves to search, localize and identify bugs and problems and a passion for monitoring.
Examples of regular tasks
- Receive and respond on alerts from monitoring systems or from 1st level support.
- Analyze the problem and provide a technical solutions/workaround or escalate to 3rd. Level support.
- Communicate with ticket issuer to identify, understand, analyze and resolve issues by means of knowledge databases and/or verifying problems.
- Incident and Problem management
(Communicate on Priority 1 and Priority 2 Incidents to stakeholders)
- Warm handover to cross functional teams and other time zones
- Check nightly run Cron jobs results
- Plan and supervise data refresh activities
- Perform Service Request related tasks
- Participate in release handover sessions for formal sign-off.
- Maintain Technical Knowledge Database.
- Regular environment clean-up activities
- Creating new Dynatrace synthetic scenarios for Product Store and testing purposes
- Analyze weekly performance- and service quality reports as well as initiating corrective actions
Tools
- It is expected that the candidate is familiar with tools like Dynatrace, Kibana, Remedy Force, Azure DevOps and Confluence.
Various
- DataHub monitoring task is appx. 40% of one FTE (preferably to be shared between the resources)
