Job Description: Business System Analyst
Looking for a business system analyst with experience in Europe expat health insurance or US Health Plan domain. The candidate should be well versed with all the Healthcare industry elements like Payer, Provider, and Administrators etc. with expertise in Membership, Product, Premium Billing and Claims.
Must have hands on working experience with any one Health Plan core/ claim admin systems.
Key Skills:
3+ years of years of Business Analyst experience in Health Plan industry.
Hands on experience working on products like MedNext+, Facet, QNXT, Diamond, Health Edge
applications.
Good understanding of Health plan domain like Membership (EDI 834), Providers, Benefits and
claims (EDI 837) gained either through implementation or testing of core admin system like
MedNext+, Facets, QNXT, Amysis WGS, ISG, CHIPS, HealthEdge, Diamond etc.
Good Interpersonal Skills and excellent communication skills
Experience in Agile delivery
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Visio
Experience writing business requirement documents and functional design documents
Good to have, understanding of SQL language and ability to write SQL queries against relational
databases
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems
Roles & Responsibilities: -
Proactively engage with onshore on requirements related matters, and act as a liaison between
onshore and offshore
Ability to translate unstructured business issues into organized business requirements
Develop functional design document and Effectively document technical system requirements
into a high level process workflow document using Microsoft Visio
Assist development in building technical design documents and development phase
Key stakeholder in defining testing road-map while working with Front end team, Product
Architect and User Experience
Assist testing team in building test scenario and test case and help with test data set-up and test case execution.
Provide analytical support to internal development and testing team, including developing and
maintaining reports to track performance and monitor data quality
Coach testing teams on quality and domain concepts
Track and communicate operational risks related to data acquisition from third party data
vendors
