THE ROLE
We are looking for a technology leader to join our diverse team of professionals, as our Principal Engineer for Database and Storage Build Automation. As a leader in this area, you will have an experience with enterprise scale application suites, and underlying global storage and database technologies. You will have the opportunity to work alongside many skilled peers and will lead team efforts to deliver build automation for modern database and storage solutions. In these efforts you will also drive efforts to advance capabilities, availability and observability.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or Equivalent with 14+ years of experience in Information Technology
Professional experience working as a lead for DevOps build, automate and deploy engineer
Demonstrable experience deploying multiple database technologies (HANA, MSSQL, MySQL, Mongo, etc.) and DB system strategies for scale, performance, replication and recovery
Strong hands-on knowledge of automation tools such as the following: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Saltstack, Packer, Jenkins, Docker, Consul, Vault
Experience leading technology teams: delegation, definition and leadership of broad goals, mentorship, and team development
Knowledge and experience working with hyperscaler cloud providers

Strong presence and excellent communication skills with technical focus
Interested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenges
