Roles and Responsibilities
- The Sales Manager is essentially responsible for accurate implementation of the sales and marketing strategy defined by the business unit with a view to attaining a defined sales target with accurate forecast.
- To establish, maintain and improve on Business w.r.t New customers, Existing customers , sales increase in the region and support for all techno commercial needs.
- To achieve the assigned yearly Sales targets (e.g Order intake & Sales revenue) with a say to Do ratio of 95% month on month.
- Maintain and track the Sales funnel.
- Monitor day to day field movement of team, No of visits, outcome of sales visit and forecasted sales revenue target achievement month on month basis.
- Achieve timely collection as per the collectable outstanding for the month and achieve the forecasted monthly collection target month on month.
- Make scheduled monthly visits
- Monitor competitor details, pricing trend, identifying Products and services which can be replaced by IOSPL solutions.
- Forecast and track Sales metrics such as Product and brand wise business growth, Business growth by regular cross selling of products and repeat business. To maintain MIS report of same
- Business development in focused key customer by expanding product portfolio through value addition services such as Annual rate contract (ARC), Vendor managed Inventory (VMI ), Vendor consolidation (VC )

Must possess proven Sales management or other relevant experience, Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity, Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment ensuring team sales performance. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level, Ability to pitch IOSPL Value based solution to customer on basis of their portfolio and SCM requirements, Excellent listening, solutions negotiation and presentation skills, Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
