Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking to hire talented B.Tech graduates who has basic knowledge in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, VBcript, WSscript Bash, Perl, Python, etc.; This role is based out of our Mumbai Office, will be part of Application Packaging team, but requires working closely with staff in Europe, Asia and North America. The position involves packaging new software, new releases and applying periodic patching. Ideal candidate should possess good academic background and strong communication skills. The ideal person will be flexible and can work independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Specialist training will be provided for some of the tasks required in the role.

Interview process: There will be 2 rounds of interview process.
1. Test Interview (Reasoning, English, and Technical) duration will be 90 minutes.
2. Technical Panel Interview, duration will be 30 minutes.
Job position : Application Packaging Engineer
Job Location : Mumbai (Powai)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and build common application installation scripts and packages for deployment to Windows Desktops and Servers using SCCM;
- Work closely with application teams to provide automation and deployment support for software;
- Manage software distribution and deployment in SCCM;
- Evaluate scripts and code for integration with existing tools and adaptation to requirements;
- Software deployment of third party applications on Windows 10 client platforms;
- Create documentation and disseminate information about steps, tools, methods and best practices to other groups; and
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
- Educated to bachelors degree level, preferably in an IT or engineering related discipline;
- Knowledge of the Windows Operating System, including registry, paths, and other common application relevant information;
- Basic knowledge in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, VBcript, WSscript Bash, Perl, Python, etc.
- Formal accreditation in ITIL v3 or another best practice framework desired but not required; and
- Formal or informal training in SCCM and Flexera Admin Studio preferred but not required.

UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
