Are you the one we are looking for Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Data Engineer Responsibilities: We are looking for a Lead Consultant, Data Engineer will be part of the team responsible for key operational aspects like availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and integration of on-prem and public cloud infrastructure and data flows with heavy focus on building self-service tools and automation. The ideal candidate is one who has hands on Big Data, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Scala, Python. Qualifications we seek in you

• BE/B Tech/ MCA/BCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ skills Excellent working knowledge of the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud and Kafka . Sound understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming, familiarity with Design Patterns. Comfortable direct interaction with the business users at all levels.

• Experience working in Hadoop Ecosystem and big data technologies
• Must be very comfortable with reading and writing Scala, Python or Java code
• Well versed with Spark development (SQL and/or Spark) - should able to express complex logic if SQL is not possible
• Sound Knowledge of HBase or any NoSQL database e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB.
• Good OS and HDFS knowledge
• Work experience on AWS on any other cloud would be an added advantage
• Experience in batch or real time data streaming
• Ability to dynamically adapt to conventional big-data frameworks and open source tools if project demands
• Knowledge of design strategies for developing scalable, resilient, always-on data lake
• Experience in agile(scrum) development methodology
• Strong development/automation skills
• Some understanding of data architecture principles, including data access patterns and data modelling
• Previous experience in Financial Services organisations an advantag
