Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant BA/PM (Reference Data)
This role is for a Business Analyst /Project Manager within the Project function supporting Product Reference Data Operations
Responsibilities
- Preparation of test strategies and approaches, documentation of test scripts and test execution
- Leading detailed analysis with line staff, wider Ops groups and Business Units to formulate and Consolidate business requirements
- Managing the documenting of business processes including business rules and reference data requirements
- The role requires the candidate to work in partnership with the Product Operations Line teams and IT, to deliver on key market and business change initiatives.
- Project planning and control, Status tracking and reporting and Issue and risk management
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor s degree / Master s Degree in Engineering
Preferred qualifications
Sound understanding of product reference data and associated market data providers
Proven project management experience with evidence of successful delivery against targets
Effective business analysis skills coupled with a strong track record developing functional knowledge
Knowledge and effective application of the principles and discipline of project management
Ability to manage changing priorities and objectives
Experience working in an Agile delivery model
A good understanding of investment banks and Operations
Account / Product / security reference data experience
Demonstrated Project / Software Delivery Management skills including issue and risk management, planning and control
Demonstrated problem solving and business analysis skills, i.e. the ability to structure an approach to work through and solve complex and ill-defined problems and issues
Demonstrated experience working in an Agile delivery model
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to work well under time constraints and with multiple projects
Advanced MS Office skills, including MS Project/ MS PowerPoint
Experience in consulting or other project management roles
Knowledge of the LEAN management methodology
