PROFILE: Software Engineering Manager (Dot Net)
LOCATION: Bangalore (Khanija Bhawan)
EXPERIENCE: 12+ Years
Brief Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering high-quality products by managing a team of engineers working on technologies such as MS Azure, .NET, MS SQL .
Make sure development team deadlines are met in timely manner
Work in an agile environment to design and implement new features based on business requirements
Technically Hands-on for end to end development
Partnering with developers, architects, engineers, and various groups to drive new initiatives
Work collaboratively with the Product Management, Data Management and other Architects to deliver the tools and services for cloud data platform, Data as a service, etc.
Consult with key technology stakeholders (internal and external API owners, etc.) to drive enhancements and changes to their products.
Guide and support engineers with the design of features in the development phase.
Identify existing productivity issues and opportunities, developing methods and systems to improve these functions and managing their implementation.
Manage all platforms of applications including capacity planning, version upgrades and maintenance
Mentor/manage team members, develop procedures and best practices standards
Participate in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design, and implementation of applications
Engage architects (both enterprise and domain) to ensure that overall Enterprise Architecture is inclusive of all stakeholder viewpoints and are vetted to ensure that artifacts supports, reflects, advances and integrates as intended
Identify standards-based solutions that are appropriate to our environment and drives adoption via mentoring and guiding others who are still developing their skills
Qualifications/Skills:
BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science/ Information Science/ Information Technology
12 + years industry experience.
Hands-on technical architect with strong understanding of cloud applications, data architecture , machine learning, end-to-end architectures and development frameworks.
Preference for strong background with Azure technology stack
Knowledge across tiers in a multi-tier cloud environment including load balancers, web servers, application containers, data stores, distributed caches and content de livery networks.
Experience with source control and continuous integration tools a plus - Git/Stash, BitBucket, Jenkins.
