Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop new business opportunities by meeting clients on a regular basis and pushing the clients for new sign-ups

across all LOBs of DTDC

  • Add new clients in the territory and increase the market share of DTDC
  • Retain existing clients and increase the revenue share from the existing clients
  • Ensure contracting and renewal of contracts is done for all clients within stipulated timelines
  • Ensuring the actual revenue growth of the territory is as per the budgeted sales plan
  • Meet clients on a regular basis, identify their issues and provide solutions to them
  • Resolve any escalations from clients immediately and report the same to senior management as and when required
  • Follow up for payment from clients within the credit period and achieve the set target collection mandate for the territory
  • Coordinate with CRM, Billing and Accounts teams of DTDC to ensure seamless experience to the clients

PEOPLE

  • Communicate daily issues to the team by proactively exchanging relevant information
  • Promote the corporate values through active participation in the corporate initiatives.
  • Engage with all team members on their feedback & development on an ongoing basis

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATION

  • MBA/PGDM in any domain with 1-2 yrs of experience
  • Graduate in any domain with 3 - 6 years of experience in a corporate sales(B2B) role in a fast paced growth organization
  • Experience in logistics and courier industry is an added advantage.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to understand customer requirements
  • Knowledge of market dynamics in logistics and courier industry
  • Ability to in work in teams across geographies
  • Stakeholder management in order to manage external customers and internal support teams
  • Proficiency in local language in order to deal with the customers on a regular
