JOB DESCRIPTION
ETL Informatica+ Oracle SQL PLSQL DEVELOPER - JOB DESCRIPTIONSkillsThis requirement is for Informatica Power Center ETL developer with Oracle SQL PLSQL skills- Develop ETL routines for Extraction, transformation and Loading data into Target Databases- Perform data analysis and normalization to resolve requirement conflicts and gaps between various data stores and business entities create entity relationship and multidimensional data models, reports and diagrams.- Document and develop ETL routines related to Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, star/snow flake schema models, slowly changing dimensions, foreign key concepts & referential integrity.-Work with engineers from disparate source systems for data acquisition, transformation and data quality.- Understand the structure and meaning of data coming in the source systems through data profiling and applying business content to the data.- Define business rules and transformations for data coming from source systems into the data warehouse to match the business application of the data.- Design and develop production level data loads into the data warehouse that are optimized for fast performance and minimal maintenance.- Design dimensional data models that Work well with the other components of the BI stack, like the database and reporting tools.- Identify data quality issues and their root causes. Implement fixes and Design data audits to capture the issues in the future.- Implement indexing and partitioning strategies that maximize query performance based on how users access the data.- Interface with system architects, designers, and developers to ensure a thorough understanding of functions, technical, and performance requirements- Review/analyze test case results to ensure functionality meets documented specifications- Assist in the execution/analysis of integration, user acceptance, and performance testingREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESMinimum of 5+ years Informatica PowercenterExperience in ETL routines/transformation development experience for Extraction, transformation and Loading data into Target DatabasesMinimum of 3-5+ years SQL and PL/SQL experience Hands on experience with Oracle Database, Procedures, Functions, Triggers and other database objects
Proficiency in Database SQL query development and data analysis
Good listening and interpretation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to lead tasks and contribute to multiple projects concurrently
Ability to collaborate with members of the client community as well as IT staff
Critical thinking with excellent judgment and initiative
