JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
The Service Operations Manager will be responsible for leading multiple DW-BI support projects in Global Delivery Center. He/She will be responsible for ongoing delivery of production deliverables, change requests and new enhancements on existing projects. He/She will work closely with different global implementation and business teams for seamless delivery.
Experience:
10-15 years of IT experience
Requirements:
Experience in leading 10+ member team in Production Support or Implementation projects
Strong experience working on complex databases and/or reporting applications
4+ years of experience in leading delivery teams and responsible for on-time and quality delivery
Has played an active role in project hand-off from Development teams
Has defined processes and introduced tools for metrics tracking and reporting
Has experience building new teams through hiring and training
Has the ability to understand issues and publish relevant RCA and action plan in a timely manner
Experience in handling escalations and defining action plans for complex delivery solutions
Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and willing to take the ownership
Proficient in working with global stakeholders and defining relevant governance practices
Has driven automation and process improvement initiatives resulting in tangible business benefits
Bachelors /Master's degree in Computer or Information System
Excellent problem-solving skills and technical expertise
Strong stakeholder and escalation management skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to work within functional and cross functional teams
Managed teams working in shifts
