Job Description
- Design, development and implementation of large scale applications using Azure.
- Support GDS Tax Technology Manager and lead different project work streams on solution design and development of Tax tools and technology solutions using Azure working with Data Analytics, Process Excellence, IT Services and Tax SMEs.
- Oversee project delivery on a variety of engagements, incorporating technology to address complex tax problems.
- Collaborate with Tax Data Analytics and other TAX SSL teams to develop models based upon state and local reporting and tax requirements.
- Develop solutions and services to help clients automate their tax data and logic computations and host it in Azure.
- Manage projects in a demanding, time-sensitive environment and deliver high-quality solutions through the use of cross-functional teams and remote resources.
Qualification & Experience Required
- Bachelor s / Master s degree in Software Engineering / Information Technology / MBA / MCA.
- An overall 6 7 years experience with at least 5 6 years of relevant hands on work experience building, integrating and delivering enterprise-wide applications.
- Good interpersonal communication and team skills required to operate as a contributing member of global technical teams that deliver quality services.
- Strong knowledge and experience in all IT methodologies and life cycles that will be used.
- Possesses an understanding of IT Services: service offerings, technical standards and policies, technical and business strategies as well as organizational structure.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and a proven ability to thrive under pressure.
- Demonstrated expertise in application design and construction, work breakdown structure of items, design and code reviews, unit test and build activities, deployment and performance related activities, documentation, support and training/ mentoring.
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies.
- Should have fair understanding of the principles of DevOps - Continuous integration and delivery.
- Should have fair understanding of design patterns and it s applicability
- Experience and understanding of technology tools such as -
- Microsoft Azure, PKI Active Directory and AD Federation Services & Directory Synchronization Cloud computing Hybrid Clouds
- Experience in Design and deploy Azure based IO workloads & SSO Experience in extending or integrating On Premises AD with Azure based AD Migrate infrastructure components to cloud
- Knowledge on PowerShell scripting and automation with IAAS and PAAS
- Experience in C#, Angular/Angular2, css3, HTML5, SQL Server, Web Api / REST Api, Web services
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodology.
