Job Description

SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Automation Lead with more than 10 years as Software Developer in Test/Programming.
- Experience in leading teams and designing automation frameworks and Automation/QA tools to increase testing efficiency.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks (mainly in Java) for testing APIs (SOAP and REST)
- Deb based applications (Chrome, Firefox, IE),
- Desktop application (WPF, Java),
- Mobile Web and Mobile Native App (using Selenium)
- Has broad range of DevOps / platform engineering skills including CI/CD experience
- Terraform (build and deploy experience) is essential plus at least some of the following: Jenkins, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker
- Understands the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Has a good working knowledge of Cloud based platforms (AWS or Azure preferred)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing / implementing a sustainable and re-usable testing framework
- Creating and maintaining test automation strategies and creating automation test plans is essential.
- Work with end users to capture automation test requirements, to design and build automation processes.
- Challenge stakeholders steer customer rather than waiting for direction.
- Automation test management in a commercial environment, including managing KPIs in test automation and full ownership/accountability of automation test projects.
- Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement in framework/tool.
- The willingness and ability to be hands on with test automation.
