IIoT Architect - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Microland

Job Description

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related field with around 8-12+ years of IT Experience
• Hands on experience in Cloud Computing technologies using some of the leading clouds like Azure

Technical Expertise:

• Experience building/architecting scalable distributed IoT/IIoT systems and platforms
• Experience on conceptualization and implementation of the IoT/IIoT Products, which are scalable, configurable and customizable
• Experience with having worked on large scale IoT data processing involving real time data processing
• Strong at Microservices architecture and implementation of RESTFul Web services
• Experience on using some of the Cloud PaaS features related to IoT. For example, IoT Hub, Event Hub, Streaming Analytics. Function Apps etc.
• Hands on experience in some of the programming languages like C++/Java/Python/Jquery/JavaScript/.Net/C#
• Hands on experience on configuring various DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible/Puppet/Chef, Azure DevOps & VSTS toolchain
• Experience & hands on experience in virtualization techniques using Docker containers, Virtual machines
• Should have strong hold on database design and maintenance activities on relational database (RDS) like SQL Server
• Should be good at writing stored procedures and functions
• Should have exposure to other storage like Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake
• Should have experience to any of NoSQL database (CosmosDB, MongoDB, Cassandra etc)
• Experience on working on systems which involve large scale data ingestion, processing, and storage
• Good to have experience on working with large scale data processing technologies like Kafka, Spark
• Good to have experience on some of the industry standard large-scale big data processing frameworks and platforms like Databricks etc
• Hands on experience on integration with external systems using some of the standard ETL tools like Data Factory, Spark
• Good to have hands on experience on some of the Big Data technologies like HDFS, HBase, Flume etc
• Software Architecture & design experience
• Ability to quickly prototype an idea/concept
• Should have strong Object-Oriented Design & implementation fundamentals
• Should have strong fundamentals in Design patterns and Data Structures
• Proven work efficiency and success within an agile product development environment
• Should be familiar with all software quality control and assurance processes
• Should have experience in implementing secure coding standards and security standards in web application development and deployment

Interpersonal Skills:

• Ability to lead, groom, and mentor the team
• Well-developed spoken and written interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to articulate and present to the CXOs community
• Ability to communicate, orally and in written, complex ideas with multiple audiences with varying levels of technical and product understanding
• Ability to research and analyze issues providing clear, concise descriptions of solutions, bringing ideas for solutions from a spectrum of sources and subject matter expertise
