Job descriptionAssistant Merchandiser for buying house (Hard goods) , carrying out all merchandising operations.
Developing the business for categories falling into Hard goods department
Explored sourcing territories for home textile & Hard goods
Performing pre selection audit of the prospective suppliers, based on the required compliance parameters.
Enhancing the capable vendor base for a growing business.
Performing the price negotiations for obtaining the best price and benchmark the product in the market against competitors.
Keeping a track of the market trends and new developments for enhancing the product assortment.
Keeping a check on the product quality and production control for timely order execution and delivery.
Helping the vendors in product qualifications as per testing standards required for market.
Responsible for sampling and product development
Handling buyers requirements
Coordinate with quality Inspection departments for day-to-day operations.
New vendor development for sampling as well as production.
Executing Bulk orders
Vendor Booking Planning
Maintaining both Sampling and Production Timelines
Handling Vendor Invoice/Chargeback Payments
Maintaining Supply Chain Management ERPs defining the order/product progress, on a daily basis
Sampling New Designs/Styles every season
Product Development
Product Costing and logging with Buyers
Daily Communicating with Buyers (both via mail and telecon)
Maintaining Cost Matrix
Handling Vendor Invoice/Chargeback Payments
Maintaining Supply Chain Management ERPs defining the order/product progress, on a daily basis
Handling Shipping of goods and related issues pertaining to Licensee/PVH requirements
Handling Shipping of Order Booking as per unit capacities
Production Target Planning, Setting, Recording and Analyzing
Analyzing and Maintaining Production Efficiencies, Output and Cost Effectiveness in general
Maintaining SOPs at each stage of production and maintaining the buyers requirement
Order Tracking (from Sampling till Shipment Delivery)
Resource Utilization Tracking (Men, Material, Machine and Money) for effective productivity goods and
related issues Direct Correspondence with Buyers.
Handle Complete Sampling & Production.
Timely updating of TNA & follow up with vendors & other departments.
Timely QC of shipment pieces.
Coordinate with Concern departments for timely execution of shipments.
Maintaining Supply Chain Management ERPs defining the order/product progress, on a daily basis
