Process Architecture, Process Designer A Process Designer within the Process Architecture group has the opportunity to directly contribute to State Street by using a design framework to efficiently explore improvement opportunities in a process that ensures successful transformation and adoption. Process Architecture is part of the Process Excellence group, including Robotics and Lean, and crosses functional boundaries to understand the end-to-end process lifecycle, allowing us to find the most transformative solution possible. As a Process Designer you will:
Ensure processes, and variant behaviors, are fully discovered during capture sessions with subject experts by leading process capture sessions, selecting approach and methods (Lean SIPOC, etc.), and facilitating Q&A.
Re-express the parts of current and future state processes relevant to proposed changes by creating business process models that are reviewable by subject experts, sponsors, and technologist stakeholders.
Enable detailed evaluation of a proposed change by representing a tokenized cost of delivering a business service.
Ensure the team has the highest likelihood of success, and all risks are managed by demonstrating consistent and proactive ownership of assigned responsibilities for standard work products, version control, model lifecycle, Capability Model Integration, and Quality Control. Influence change in these areas where appropriate.
Ensure critical path delivery for 2-3 projects/opportunities simultaneously by balancing their needs and deadlines, delegating or escalating where appropriate, participating in quality assurance for the team, and by developing and leveraging special knowledge of regional businesses products and process variation.
Promote optimal business process and technology solutions, and therefore lowest cost by influencing team best practice in the consistent expression of recurring process fragments.
Expand the team's ability to express change in business services by researching and evaluating new analytical tools and standards that answer questions beyond the scope of existing tools, such as BPMN.
