Job Description

Requirements:
B.Tech/M.Tech from a reputed institute
Having around 10+ years of CM and automation experience
Has worked in team environment on CM based activities.
Required Skills:
Build and Release activities of Development, Patch, and Maintenance releases
Revision control, branching management and Baselining of software using GIT.
Knowledge and implementation experience of continuous integration tools like Jenkins/buildbot
Experience in writing CM plans/policies, product release notes, package integration and package installation instructions
Training to Development team on Release Process, CM tools
Designing and developing small web based tools for CM services
Having knowledge of code coverage integration using gcov/lcov is desirable
knowledge of web development frameworks like Python-Django
Knowledge of JIRA administration is required
Knowledge of WEB front end development tools/technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, JQuery)
Automation using scripting language like perl/python and shell scripts like bash and csh
Knowledge of database system MySQL, postgresql, mongodb. Admin knowledge will be an advantage.
Knowledge of APACHE web server and lighttpd (desirable)
Good communication and interpersonal skills needed
Knowledge of build system like Make, Boost or similar
A good thinking to take on bigger and sustainable programs for complex systems
Duties to be performed:
Looking after all the CM activities for the division from creating baselines to patches and software registration
Supporting development teams for CM related routine tasks
Undertaking automatic builds on development team commits and reporting on build failures for quick resolution
Building distribution sandboxes for internal use and customer installations
Introduce tools to ease development teams to become more productive
