Job Description

Job profile
To identify vendors and to prepare an approved vendor list, float enquiries for various capital goods, machinery & spare parts.
To prepare technical & commercial bid analysis. To issue purchase orders alongwith finalized specifications.
To carry out shop inspections for approvals
To follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
Purchase Area would include the following:
Capital Goods such as Reactors, Agitator Vessels, Storage Tanks, Heat Exchangers, Pumps Piping & Valves, DG Sets, Boilers, Compressors, Blowers, Electrical Instruments, Piping & Mechanical Spare Parts for above Machinery.
Industrial Construction Material such as Re-enforcement Steel, Structure Steel, Anchor bolts, fasters, Tiles and other Construction Materials
Qualification / Experience:
Should be a Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or a Graduate having atleast 5 years of experience in the area of purchase of capital goods and spare parts in a company manufacturing pigments/chemicals etc.
