We have urgent opening of E/M (Evaluation and mangement) Medical Coder.

Job Title: Associate/Sr.Associate - Medical Coder

Location: Chennai

Shift: Day

Speciality: E/M - I/P & O/P

Certification: CPC

Job Description:

Analyzing the medical record
Assigning the CPT, ICD & Modifiers as required based on the standard operating protocol
Ensure that all codes are current and active
Checking the LCD as per the carrier specifications
Meet daily coding production and quality standards as per SLA
Collaborate with billing department to ensure all bills are satisfied in a timely manner
Maintaining patient confidentiality and information security

Job specifications:

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology & medical terminologies required.
Extensive knowledge of official coding conventions and rules established by the
American Medical Association (AMA), and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid
Services (CMS) for assignment of diagnostic and procedural codes
Possess Knowledge in MIPS and HCPCS coding
Average knowledge in MS excel
