Job description
Project Management
- Planning, controlling and executing a project or set of related work packages to meet identified business needs and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills.
- Alignment with Global Counterparts and a range of stakeholders within the Design Enabling Services (DES) India team
- Drive roll out of activities/proposal throughout DES Globally as required by the project goals
Accountablity for all aspects of successful on budget and on time project delivery of the projects.

The assignment for the position concerns Software development with modern methods (Agile). The person is required to have a solid understanding of SDLC and be able to plan and communicate the project goals and outcome to a larger stakeholder community (rollout).
- Stakeholder Management At DES we have a diversified portfolio of activities we cater to, our solutions offering range from delivery to R&D Community, Sales and Marketing. All interests need to be managed and are to be communicate to the respective teams

- Conflict Management The responsible person should be able to resolve conflict situations and be able to drive discussions/decision to logical conclusions in interest of IFX business demands
- Communication/Reporting Communication is the key, all project activities should be communicated timely to all the stakeholders.
- Software Development Know-How To drive the project a basic know how of SW Dev is required, this would benefit in better understanding of the problem statement and explanation to stakeholders
Interfaces: Stakeholders (spread across globe), Project team (Other Work Package leads, Team Members), Project Management Team
Education: Bachelor in Electronics/Computer Science. Project Management Certification (Preferred)
Experience: - 5+ years of experience in handling projects with small to medium complexity
- 5+ years of hands on experience working on Software development or Quality Assurance
- Proven track record in project management across all aspects of the development via waterfall or agile, across the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience of using project planning tools such as MS Project, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, or similar.
Specific or Entrepreneurial Knowledge: - Strong communication and networking skills to harmonize with peers, senior management and stakeholders
- Willing to dive into new things and pick them up fast
- Very good analytical skills required to evaluate complex situations
- Focus on exchange of complex technical information
- Good reporting and presentation skills
- Good understanding of internal interfaces.
- Good team player as teams are spread across globe
- Self-motivated and should be able to motivate others
Salary: 14LPA to 18 LPA
