Infrastructure DevOps Engineer Senior @ Pricewater House

Day to Day Responsibility:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the below activities:

• As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer, you will define and set best practices for code management, build, deploy and release across multiple teams/products in CI/CD model on Azure Devops.
• Daily responsibilities will include activities such as supporting business teams to resolve issues, maintaining the healthy state of all environments, and monitoring and administering Web/Database/CPU/GPU servers.

Skills and Experience:

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including:

• Ideally 6 to 9 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline (BE, BTech, MCA).
• Building and managing Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and Release Management workflows.
• Applying thorough knowledge abilities with Docker Containers.
• Managing Azure DevOps repos and branch policies.
• Defining and implementing the configuration of Azure PAAS and IAAS services for high availability, data redundancy, data loss prevention, site recovery and resilience.
• Implementing observability patterns using Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights and Log Analytics Workspace.
• Deploying infrastructure, applications and software-defined networking through CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps.
• Scripting of deployments.
• Monitoring of and accountability for all aspects of Azure production environment.
• Ensuring cost and spend optimization of Azure environment.
• Experience performing database migrations with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with database performance analysis in either PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge in Backup options such as LRS/GRS.
• Troubleshooting issues with Microservices based Applications.
• Troubleshoot issues with server patching, knowledge in security protocols, Quality scans, Veracode scans and Penetration testing etc.
• Preferred AKS with Azure experience
• Integration with Azure DevOps and other tools is preferred.
• Experience working with Incident Management, Change Management and Release Management
• Building and leveraging relationships as well as specialist level verbal and written communication skills.
