Job Description
Minimally supervised position maintaining and supporting a mainframe environment for an insurance client. Must be willing to work some U. S. hours. Work under the direction of the senior engineer to provide L2 and L3 support, plan and install upgrades, monitor key performance metrics and correct / resolve the same. Provide insight into trends analysis.Control- M administration
DB2 administration installing upgrades to DB2
Day to day operational support - batch Monitoring, backup/ recovery, control- M admin, release Management
User access control
batch cycle support
MF H/ W support
Audits
Trouble shooting MF problems/ issues
Database Requests
Password resets (RACF, Ingenium)
Control- M Schedule requests
Turnover activities - Approving packages, performing ChangeMan DS installs
Xerox FreeflowPolicy print printer support - Stopping/ re- starting mainframe printers related to Xerox Freeflow
Control- M job failures support.
