Job Description

Globalization Services owns, secures, and enhances Globalization of SAP solutions across the entire solution portfolio, covering technical prerequisites, translation, global business practices and local requirements.
Being part of the HXM (Human Experience Management), you will be working on the localization of Cloud Native Payroll. You shall be working on some of the latest cloud native technologies and be part of the micro service development architecture.
You will work in a Scrum team with a diverse mix of highly motivated young and mature talents focused on ABAP, Java, and other technologies like Rabbit MQ, HTML5, SAP UI5, ODATA.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- You take over responsibility for the entire lifecycle of applications and services for the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, operations, and support.
- You work as an expert defining, refining, and updating product backlog of a SCRUM team.
- You collaborate with other experts, architects, and program managers to ensure a smooth execution of the backlog.
- You drive improvements and innovations in development processes, methodologies, and technology by collaborating with designers and domain experts.
- As an experienced functional expert, you will be understating and defining the functional requirements in the form of user stories in collaboration with product managers.
- You will be engaging with the customers during different phases of product development to ensure success of the product.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor s/ Master s Degree in one or more of the following fields: information technology, computer science, mathematics, applied sciences, engineering or a related area.
- We are looking for candidates with several years of work experience in the HCM payroll application development.
- SAP development experience using ABAP/Java technology. Should have special focus on Usability, performance, scalability, and extensibility.
- Deep understanding of HCM payroll functionality. Should have extensive experience in implementing the payroll country localizations.
- Ability to quickly understand customers business requirements and to generate, promote new and creative ideas.
- Experience in an Agile/SCRUM methodologies of development.
