Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with embedded controls development or verification Experience with Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, VTsystem, vTESTstudio Experience in CAPL scripting Good knowledge of CAN serial communications, including vehicle messaging and diagnostic service implementations. Ability to read and understand C and Assembly source code. Knowledge on Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow Excellent communication and documentation skills Familiarity with formal problem-solving skills (Fishbone analysis, etc) Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Visio, etc) Understanding of control module embedded design microprocessor peripherals, memory allocation, compilers, linkers, programming standards, etc. Support meetings internally and with customers to discuss test plans and test issues Preferred Skills: Prior experience in Automotive EPS (Electric Power Steering) systems domain Prior experience with a requirements management tool such as DOORS Good understanding of microprocessors and microcontrollers Prior experience with Tier-1 supplier is a plus Ability to travel for training and meetings
