Job Description
Hi Everyone,
We need Candidates who have Experience in Java & javascript with deep knowledge of VMware ecosystem & vRA-vRO workflows for our client.
Exp: 6-8yrs
Location: Any
Notice period: immediate to 15 days.

- vRealize Automation is an IT automation suite catering to multi-vendor heterogenous platforms. Usually deployed with vRealize Orchestrator, the solution allows granular integration & automation of IT management tasks, via blueprints & workflows.
- VMware has released 8.x version of both vRA and vRO, which has much larger feature set. It however has different constructs as compared to previous generation i.e., 7.x. VMware wants its customers to migrate from vRO-vRA 7.x version to latest 8.x version.
- Migration tool built by VMware addresses ~75% customer scenario for 7.x to 8.x upgrade. However, ~25% of customers, may have integrations with 3rd party and customized workflows, which need to be handled on case-to-case basis. VMware wants to have a vendor team to enable migrations for such cases.
Below are high level goals of engagement:
- Build a team to handle vRO-vRA 7.x to 8.x migrations which involve customizations (Blueprints & Workflows)
- Team would handle customers spread across geographies US, EMEA & APAC
- Team would handle multiple migrations in parallel
- Work on priorities specified by VMwares Account & Product Management teams
- Primary skills required would be Java & JavaScript with deep knowledge of VMware ecosystem & vRA-vRO workflows
- Team would need to adapt/customize workflows, validate and implement migration
