Job Description
The roles and responsibilities of an Associate Scientific Writing include the following:
1. Compliant to various pharma regulations and guidelines and ensuring that it is supported by authentic and up-to-date references
2. Developing and updating content for various medical materials, performing literature search to identify appropriate references to support creation/update of scientific content, and tracking and auditing assets for various purposes
3. Developing and reviewing content for various deliverables with the quality requirements as per client satisfaction metrics, within assigned timelines and with guidance from the manager
4. Ensuring tasks are performed as per assigned processes, guidelines, and SOPs with the help of tools and platforms specified by the clients and the manager
5. Following the best practices in the department regarding processes, communication (internal and external), project management, documentation and technical requirements such as language, grammar, stylization, content search, summarizing, data conflicts, and referencing
6. Participating in assigned training programs and working on assignments as per requirement.
7. Participating in client calls as per project requirements
8. Being compliant to quality, confidentiality, and security; adhering to and following quality systems, processes, and policies; and being compliant to training and specifications
Desired Skills and Experience:
1. Education M Pharm/BDS/MDS/PhD
2. Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical companies
3. Understanding of any specialty area of medicine (preferred) or an overall understanding of the medical field
4. Strong flair and passion for writing
5. Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
6. Passion for networking
7. Being up to date with the latest technical/scientific developments and relating them to various projects
8. Client-oriented attitude with focus on creating strong long-term relationships with clients and encouraging others to work toward this goal
9. Ability to assure timely completion of assignments
10. Skilled in problem identification and problem solving
