Inviting applications for the role of Engineer, DB Developer
In this role, you will be responsible for creating technical specification, developing a component or improving an existing module and deploying the same to QA post successful unit testing. You are encouraged to contribute to the vision, understand the product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. You must be proficient in agile software development concepts.
Responsibilities
As a DB Developer, your responsibilities include
- Understanding of MySQL s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.
- Writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Adopt best practices in Oracle and MySQL.
- Demonstrate good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Writing complex SQL and performance optimization.
- Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL
- Strong proficiency MySQL
- Proficient in writing complex SQL and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event scheduler.
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as {{Git / SVN/Azure DevOps}}
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks at the same
Preferred qualifications
- Proficient in automation of DB release using tools like Liquibase
- Knowledge of index management, and statistics
- Knowledge of any Drug Safety System (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MariaDb.)
- Knowledge of PV regulations
