Job Description
- You will be responsible to build and maintain web, virtual, and client server environments for the enterprise on cloud.
You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any IT service issues related to operating systems and servers; partner with the other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve related issues. - I mplement DevOps capabilities in cloud offerings using CI/CD toolsets and automation.
- Configure and deploy cyber security software stacks for highly available platforms in private and public cloud.
- Support CI/CD automation requirements for 24x7 key systems.
- Identify, tackle, and mitigate system failures and security vulnerabilities.
- Support software stack and servers migration to a public cloud achieving highly secure and available architecture.
- You will build and implement software standards for operating systems, servers and virtualized infrastructure.
- AWS Cloud Engineer with at least 3-5 years of experience with AWS cloud services -- including open source technology, software development, system engineering, scripting languages, and multiple cloud provider environments.
- Ability to follow procedures in a tightly run Change Control system and communicate to peers and upper management. This position has high visibility and requires a professional demeanor.
- Operation System hands-on - Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) , Shell scripting
- DevOps Tools/Technologies - CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins, Bitbucket/Git, Perforce , Nexus/Artifactory, Maven & Helm
- Configuration Management - Ansible (playbooks and roles)
- Experience in DevOps tools (monitoring and tracing tools, security, logging , optimization, Graffana)
- Strong in Linux administration skills (RedHat / CentOS / Ubuntu).
- The team supports 24x7 production and working shifts and a weekend day if required.
- Experience in the following DevOps tools: OpenShift / ICP / Kubernetes, Docker is a must.
- Experience with Ansible or other configuration management systems (Chef/Puppet) is an advantage.
- Cloud proficiency - AWS - must. Azure & GCP - optional
- Exposure to middleware technologies like Tuxedo, weblogic is added advantage.
- Hands on experience in high scale production support(L1/L2/L3).
- Experience in troubleshooting problems and working with a team to resolve large scale issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
