Job Description
Manager, ProcurementThis is a strategic role within the Procurement Function, reporting into the Category Lead Professional Services with overall accountability in bringing in the required expertise across the contingent labor category and in particular the MSP contract
Balance implementation activities required within sourcing to effectively complete the global rollout of the MSP contract. Balance day to day sourcing activities of the MSP including:
Monitor performance of the MSP and guide the HR organization through the Contractual governance requirements
This is a global role, hence you would need to understand global strategic sourcing and should be able to establish vendor connects across regions.
Responsibilities- You should build the roadmap to deliver the vision for the MSP contract
- Monitor and gauge the performance and commercial aspects of the MSP supplier. Develop appropriate Supplier Management tools and processes and guiding the business through the execution and use of them
- Ensure that the MSP delivers the anticipate savings and identify additional opportunities to drive savings
- Ensure that adequate change management is in place to maintain momentum with partners
- You should participate in partner discussions and ensure their consensus is achieved
- You shall drive standard methodologies throughout procurement process and to bring in cost efficiency, improved quality of services and adequate risk and compliance management across the MSP
- You shall build impactful business relationships with key partners and ensure collection of business requirements within sourcing strategies
- Operationalize insights/standard methodologies and build execution strength
- You shall act as the MSP guide, providing guidance and market intelligence
- Lead supplier negotiations and develop negotiation plans
- Drive spend under management
- Owns savings dedication across projects
- Develop global, regional, local implementation plans
- Develop and maintain risk register at MSP and initiative level
Minimum qualifications
- Graduate in engineering/supply chain/business from a reputed B school
- Significant experience sourcing Contingent Labor, ideally within the services sector
- Ability and confidence to take care of senior partners and field questions in absence of line manager
- Knowledge of supplier market
- Experience of leading supplier negotiations
- Proven record of leading large, complex, enterprise level contracts including multi geographies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate a range of influencing techniques at all levels within an organisation
- Consistent track record of delivering savings
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial skills
- Proficiency in Procurement and other business related systems e.g. Oracle, Ariba etc
- Ability to build & communicate a clear point of view demonstrating past experience
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to craft high degree of partnerships, works and communicates well with all levels of leadership (both client & internal)
