Job Description

manufacturingRoles and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and recommend Industry Credit Reviews for countries within FID portfolio.
  • Assist in Credit Risk Assessment/structuring for FI relationship bank proposals and transactions
  • Work closely with RMs and contribute on creation and renewal of CPs.
  • Maintain credit presentation standard
  • Timely identification, recognition & mitigation of credit & operational risks.
  • Responsible for ensuring that ICRs & CPs are properly presented and include all relevant information
  • Analyze FI portfolio on a regular basis.

Key Result Areas

  • Review & run credit controls in line with the Banks credit policy and local regulatory directives in order to attain satisfactory risk rating.
  • Monitor & ensure timely submission of Industry Credit Review and CPs across the Group
  • Review & submit credit proposals for higher level of approval, request received from branches / units to ensure that all relevant risks are adequately analyzed.
  • Work closely with internal customers to ensure that all up-to-date relevant information is obtained to conduct a proper evaluation of assets and country portfolio.
  • Review, check & assign where applicable the appropriate risk rating to each credit processed and initiate the change in the rating as the case may be to reflect the true and fair condition of the customer.
  • Analyze and incorporate the processed information in the credit marketing presentations.
  • Ensure consistent presentation standards.
  • Work with respective RMs/SRMs and Business Support and ensure quality end product.
  • Work with respective RMs/SRMs to contribute in the creation and renewal of CPs and on reducing the turn around time.

Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships

  • The job holder is to assist the Division Head when required and should interact frequently with the assigned branches/units.

Problem Solving

  • To ensure timely delivery of services.
  • To initiate change in risk rating as early as possible to reflect the customers financial condition.
  • To participate in meeting with customers to solve outstanding problems.

Decision Making Authority & Responsibility

  • Monitor, report & recommend actions if risk profiles of a Relationship or a specific deal changes.
  • This position will have the authority as delegated by the Unit Manager from time to time to recommend Credit related issues to Group Head and Risk Management.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • The job holder should be a University graduate with a minimum banking experience of 4 years in Credit/Financial Analysis at similar level of Banking /other related fiels.
  • Should possess a good analytical skills with thorough awareness of various financial products / services.
  • Should have good analytical skills to analyze banking industry and analyze individual Banks capital, asset quality, profitability & liquidity.
  • Should be able to understand ALM (Asset Liability Management)
  • Should be able to understand FI strategy and growth potential.
  • Should be able to understand FI products & services.


Desired Candidate Profile


International or MNC- credit analyst experience

Working on Global Credit analysis

sector - Trading , large corporates, mid corporates, manufacturing, services.
