About the role
- Commercial Lending Applications - Production Support Team Manager
Manage a team of business systems consultants dedicated to providing front line user support for the Commercial Lending Applications such as Loan IQ , Post Book Certification tools, etc. - Responsibilities include coaching team members, setting objectives for the team, managing team member performance, monitoring production support defect counts and resolution times, serving as an escalation point for complex defects, and reporting metrics to senior management.
- The Loan IQ production support team acts a liaison between the client area and the technical organization by analyzing and documenting systems issues, reporting those issues to the internal technical team or application vendor as applicable, and owning the issue throughout the life cycle from initiation of the request through testing and implementation.
Responsibilities
Include the following(but are not limited to): Leads a large and/or specialized Business Systems Consulting group that plans, conducts and directs analyses of technological solutions that are highly complex, strategic and may be enterprise-wide.
- May have both direct and matrix management responsibility, with subordinate managers and high level individual contributors as direct reports.
- Interacts frequently with senior management, demonstrating influence and negotiation.
- Ensures effective and influential relationships with vendors and other external contacts.
- Recommends technology policy on behalf of the line of business and coordinates policy development with systems leadership.
- Participates in systems planning. Identifies risk factors and ensures enactment of appropriate controls.
- Reviews RFPs and has responsibility for vendor oversight and selection.
Essential Qualifications
- 14 years of experience in Commercial Banking Lending applications such as Loan IQ, Post Booking Certification in a production support, QA or operations role.
- Graduate degree with financial background.
- 6 years of people management experience.
- Experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking applications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications including Excel and Word.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility to assist with production support coverage during evening or weekend installations and domestic holidays.
- Word, PowerPoint, Excel Visio application experience
Business Requirement Documentation, Test planning, test scripting. - Demonstrated experience with implementations of commercial lending applications.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and holidays (U.S. and India holidays) as needed or scheduled.
