Chemical ETP Lab Assistant - Navi @ Samsara Shipping

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience in ETP Operating, testing of Effluent treatment including (RO) discharge
• Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring, and testing required to maintain compliance with MPCB rules and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process, and storm water and sludge
• Assist in the performance of regular and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment and machinery.
• On-call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns at the ETP plant
• Conduct the necessary weekend checks of the treatment plant on a rotating basis.
• Ability to diagnose and correct wastewater treatment plant malfunctions;
• Follow the instructions of the ETP operation & maintenance manual; - Control dosage of chemicals and nutrients based on the wastewater
• Develop facility for performing following test in house
• COD
• BOD
• DO ( Dissolve Oxygen)
• TSS ( Total suspended solid)
• TDS ( Total Dissolve solids)
• MLSS
• MLVSS
• Oil & Grease

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: 2-5 yrs.

Education: Bachelor's / Masters (Chemistry)
