Cognizant - Job Opportunity for Functional Testers with Credit Card Domain!
Experience required for the Job: 3 - 10 years
Job Location: Chennai
Job Description:
- Strong end to end functional testing knowledge
- Capable of creating comprehensive Test strategy, test plan for large programs
- Domain knowledge in credit cards (Customer acquisition, Authorization, Transaction processing, Settlement, Disputes etc)
- Basic automation knowledge is a must.
- DB testing and API testing knowledge would be preferred.
- Performance testing and DevOps knowledge is add on.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate in design review and requirement grooming
- Provide inputs and raise clarification on requirements/ design artifacts
- Prepare test scenarios and maintain traceability of test cases to requirements
- Execute test cases to validate requirements
- Analyze test results and raise defects appropriately
- Prepare reports related to the software testing carried out and report to stakeholders on a daily basis
- Conduct defect triage calls and ensure closure of defects.
- Automate test cases as required and execute the same for regression testing
For all the above roles the candidate should possess a B.E. / B.Tech/ B.Sc/ BCA/ MCA/ M.E. / M.Tech/ M.Sc with consistent above 50% is Mandatory.
