Come, be a part of our exciting journeyAre you the one we are looking for Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Balance Sheet Analytics LeadIn this role, the Balance Sheet Analytics Lead operates in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment and is well suited to those with strong processing skills and a positive, can-do attitude. The candidate must also be willing to work flexible and varying shifts through the year and must react positively and effectively to the needs of handling volume spikes (usually at quarter & Year ends)
Responsibilities
- Cash Analysis: Analyzing the flow of cash transactions, identifying major drivers, and preparing commentary for presentation to the senior management.
- DAC Analysis: Monthly Deferred Acquisition Cost (DAC) reconciliation to ensure the bookings in the respective accounts are in line with the agreed percentages with the reinsurers.
- Transactional Analysis: Analyzing the large transactions and provide commentary on the drivers for major currencies like EUR, GBP, and USD as part of transactional analysis SOX control.
- Sox Trans: Review the transactions posted to ensure transactions are posted in the correct currency.
- Reserves Analysis: Analysis of Gross and Ceded Reserves booking by both Business Unit and Functional Line of Business
- Local STAT Vs US GAAP: Provide Head Office with a clear, concise, and reliable reconciliation from the local audited statutory accounts to the USGAAP ledger for submission.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce
- CA Inter/Final, M. Com
- Experience in Balance Sheet Analytics
- Insurance/ Reinsurance Domain knowledge
- Lean/Six Sigma awareness
Preferred qualifications
- Good Communication Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent analytical ability
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated delivery of high-quality output.
- Ability to work in a changing environment
- Ability to build relationships with internal customers in Genpact and very importantly with the client must be seen as a proactive, helpful team player
- High customer service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to respond to stretch situations of volume spikes as and when the need arises
