SUMMARY

THE ROLE
The role is of a Senior Full Stack Developer, the individual would develop, design, deploy simple and complex features in SAP Ariba Platform suite of products. The Senior Developer has to be part of the entire software development life cycle, in addtition he/she would also have to debug complex issues in code and figure out the root cause and provide timely fix. The role requires the engineer to have hands on experience with emerging trends and technologies in the field of cloud development, including open source products and contribute to the on-going development of SAP Ariba Platform suite of products. It would be good ot have a seasoned engineer with good mentoring/coaching abilities in his/her areas of ownership and expertise.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in computer science or related field with 8+ years of experience in Java and related technologies
- Java coding skills and expertise in JDBC, JMS and Web Services (REST, oDATA) with focus on performance and scalability
- Expertise with relational and no-sql databases like Oracle, Sybase, Hbase, SAP Hana or databases is preferred
- Experience in performance testing of large-scale cloud deployments and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- DevOps mindset an inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle
- Knowledge of lean development infrastructure process including Git, TeamCity, Jenkins etc. and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices
- Exposure to building large scale application deployed on a public cloud like AWS, AZURE, GCP, etc.
