REQUIRE MANAGER (ELECTRONICS DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT) FOR AL FANAR IN SAUDI ARABIA
JOB TITLE: MANAGER (ELECTRONICS DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT) (Selected candidate will join work in India branch then relocated to Saudi as per the government guidelines)

JOB PURPOSE:
Leading Electronic Team for R&D, New product Design & development using Stage gate process for all Electronics functions from concept to product launch (Hardware, Software, Firmware Design, Analysis & reliability, Testing, Manufacturing, etc). Introduction and development of new technologies in Wiring Accessories, Low Voltage Protection devices, Smart building & Home automation and Energy management.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Overall responsibility for leading electronic design team for new product management, design & development conforming to the required international product & process standard and Quality & reliability standards. continual improvement of existing Electronic products.
- Development & institutionalization of systems and procedures and best practices. Generate and maintain detailed technical documents as required for each project.
- Building strong team and resources (like Research and Development Laboratory etc.) and facilitating the technical team by providing technical systems and procedures for Electronics Engineering functions
- Technical support to customer for all ALFANAR electronic products related issues- From understanding of root-cause (raw material stage, PCB assembly stage, product assembly stage) to change requirements and formal release of solution through change management process.
- Verifying, Testing and validating the electronics component/product & certification activities associated with the development of electronic hardware /software.
- Collaboration within the department and cross functional teams to launch of electronic products.
- Project and product cost estimation and managing projects to agreed budgets and target cost
- Manage EMI/EMC /ESD mitigations / related safety in all product design.
- To maintain and enhance own and team knowledge for the latest technology and market trends to sustain and improve the ALFANAR products by providing specific training to specific personnel for better effectiveness and efficiency to deliver expected results.
- To ensure completion of yearly initiatives and KPI as per defined targets.
- Forecasts operating costs for electronics design activities and directs preparation of budget requests.
- Improve production techniques, and develop test procedures and fixture for assembly product
- Developed and implemented sales strategy designed to target OEM/ODM for outsourcing potential.
- Regular review of risks involved with electronic products and processes, internal and external factors affecting electronic products and taking timely actions.
- Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on engineering design and development. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost
- Electronic solution development for Wiring Accessories, Low Voltage Protection devices, Smart building & Home automation and Energy management.
- Building up electronic design team and related infrastructure like Analysis, Prototyping, Testing Lab to meet product & technology requirements.
- Managed a global team responsible for project management, application engineering, product engineering, process engineering, and materials engineering.
- Knowledge of IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning
- Good knowledge of Electronics components & PCBA manufacturing process for optimum product design.
- Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic product safety and testing standards like, SASO, BSEN, UL, IEC, IPC etc
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software for PCB design (ALTIUM desirable, ALLEGRO, CAMSTATIC, CAM350 and OTHER related Electronics design software)
- Networking with Supplier and vendors development for electronics components.
- Designed analog and digital I/O to display data through the use of LCDs/LEDs.
- Quality, Safety & Environmental Systems Knowledge
- Hands on experience of resolution of EMI /EMC issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
- BE / B. Tech. - Electronics Engineering. ME & M. Tech (Preferred)
- 15-20 years experience with 10 years in a similar position.
