Job Description
Qlik Developer / SME
In this role, we are inviting enthusiasts with experience in report designing, development and deployment using both Qlik View & Qlik sense. You should be proficient with the 3-tier architecture, which includes the ETL, Data Modeling & front-end development.
You should have strong SQL skills with experienced in RDMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle etc.
Having strong communication skills (verbal/written) will be essential to deliver the technical insights and interpret the data reports to the clients.
You should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis & experience in data integration through extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
We are looking for a strong analytical and logical mindset and attention to detail & your ability to work in a team.
Responsibilities- Ability to work with the Business/P&L teams on requirement discussions.
- Design, build and deploy reporting solutions.
- Sound knowledge & working experience in implementing features like set analysis,interval match etc. on projects.
- Should have experience in optimizing exiting reports & tuning performance issues
- Should have working knowledge on QMC , job scheduling & monitoring
- Manage and improve existing BI systems
- Expert in visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Qlik.
- Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
- Importing and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Require to perform advance level calculations on the data set.
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Ability to organize/manage timely delivery
- Documentation of findings (SharePoint)
- Full Transparency on progress (JIRA) & Initiative on working methods
- Ability to collaborate with wider team to share knowledge and improve quality of delivery (MS TEAMS)
- BCA/B Tech or MCA
- Meaningful work experience in BI & DW domain.
- Experience in Insurance Domain (P&C is preferred)
- Relevant work experience Qlik & other reporting tools
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in ETL tools/technologies (e.g. Informatica)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle client discussions
