Job Description
Manager, Non-IT SourcingIn this role, you will manage Non-IT Sourcing and facilitate business on services or products the organization would want to buy. You will function as a SPOC:
- Driving the Sourcing processes for site/country on NON-IT categories requirements
- Handling Non-IT Sourcing Contracts and PO transactions with vendors which include:
- Identification and alignment of vendors to Genpact requirements
- Negotiations with vendors and vendor pre-qualification process
- Contract drafting and documentation procedures, certificates, clearances, etc.
- Securing the audit trails
- Supporting the ongoing innovations
- Support the periodic audits as may require and advised by the leaders in the sourcing
- Use of Ariba as e-proc tools and oracle as ERP
- Working with I&L/HR/Training/ Marketing /Legal /Finance teams
- Handling business relations with Suppliers/Vendors as per policy
- Driving Sourcing efficiency and cost reduction through consolidation of buys & vendors and identification of cost heads
- Review, negotiate, prepare, analyze and maintain contracts and requests of low, medium and high value and complexity.
- Prepares requests for bid and contacts vendors for bid quotations; analyzes bids received; choice and pointing of provider, prepares and supervises contracts, outlining performance standards, tolerances, warranties, and maintenance requirements.
- Responsible for continuous supplier performance and risk assessment and management
- Work on implementation of global agreements and sourcing recommendations for the assigned spend.
- Responsible for market intelligence, benchmarking, supplier qualification and onboarding, supplier segmentation and supplier relationship management
- Contributes to process improvement and development
- Identify savings opportunities through efficient sourcing solutions; identify harmonization and standardization opportunities
- Participates in cross-departmental project teams highlighting opportunities and constraints implied by the technicalities of specific commodity supply markets.
- Develop and handle collaborations to understand the needs and the objectives of the business
- Develop other sources of supply either as alternatives or to meet emerging or planned needs.
- Resolves quality/supply issues
- Prepare/provide spend reports
- Provide support to requesters for an accurate usage of Oracle
- OR as other responsibilities the management decides over the period
Minimum qualifications
- Exposure to dealing with Logistics sourcing vendors
- Understanding of key requirements of Sourcing
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent Vendor management skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Good stakeholder management and people handling skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work across diverse functions like Logistics, Engineering, Legal, and Finance
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Experience in Contract formation, Oracle Purchasing and Spend Analytics
- Proficient MS Excel/Word, Oracle version R11 & R12 or ERP
- Basic Knowledge of Taxes and GST Implementation
- Experience in working over Oracle Financial ERP
