Inviting applications for the role of DB/Python Developer
Responsibilities
In this role, candidate will be responsible for providing Application Enhancement services in a Python, Database environment during regular India hours from India location. Candidate will be working with SMEs, Business Analyst, module developers, Users and other Support functions for complete end-to-end SDLC for Capital Market Client.
Additional responsibilities shall include contributing in designing and documenting of the applications based on existing architecture and inputs received from Client from time to time. Perform unit testing, integration testing and UAT as and when required. Also, engage with Client in requirement gathering, Status update on deliverables, UAT and be the key stakeholder in the overall engagement.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/ MCA/BCA
Preferred qualifications
- Strong hands on experience on Python on Linux environment (Unix)
- Good database background in any RDBMS
- Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations including escalations, status reports and resolving impediments. The person should have a technical aptitude to troubleshoot applications, implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the customer.
- Good Understanding of ITIL Methodology & experience in working global teams in a multi-application support environment.
- Ready to adapt to evolving technologies with simultaneous support to existing frameworks.
- Regular India working hours with On Call weekend support and some coverage to US/UK teams.
