Operations supervisor handling day to day clients global shipping operations.
Communicate mainly with overseas clients regarding ongoing assignments (Ship Audits, Inspections, claims etc) via email and/or on phone.
Supervise/manage a team of operators to plan and execute various ongoing assignments.
Ensure all information is properly communicated and assignment details updated in the system.
Liaise closely with clients, auditors, agents etc to ensure smooth execution.
Communicate with attending auditor/s and prepare assignment report for client.
Assist accounts team for billing of assignments.
Qualification and Experience:
Minimum 02 years experience in an operations role.
Experience of supervising/managing small to medium (1-10 people) teams in an operations outfit.
Graduate in any field.
Confident enough to speak over the phone and flexibility to work any day in a week.
Very good verbal and written English skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Power Point).
