Job Description
Manager, Technical Zones
- Contribute towards Organization Vision of "Global Partner of Choice"
- Create and Convert Strategic Goals to Achievable Plans
- Drive Cost Reduction & Growth Initiatives for sustained Profitability growth
Roles & Responsibility
- Cost Optimization & Growth Initiatives
- Define an Annual and 3 Yr Plan for Productivity Improvement & Growth Initiatives
- Generate, identify and analyze Ideas or Business Initiatives and Define SMART Goals for debottlenecking plants, yield improvements, process or technology upgradation and other cost optimization initiatives at cross functional level
- Prioritize portfolio of Improvement and Growth Initiatives to meet Organization Goals
- Conduct periodic Productivity & Growth Improvement Meetings for Concept Notes creation
- Conduct Feasibility Analysis, prepare Techno Commercial Proposals for CMD and Investment Council Approvals
- Monitor Initiative Progress against defined KPI's
- Ensure & work closely with Statutory Team to plan and apply for necessary Statutory approvals
- Create, Evaluate & Improve current Business Process & Systems for effective delivery of Organization goals
Capex Control
- Review Key Technical Financial Proposals and its association with our Strategic Goals
- Validate the Capex & Execution Plan for optimized usage of Financial & other resources
- Prepare Executive Summary for CMD approvals
Business Continuity Plans
- Work Closely with Operational Heads to understand areas of Major Production Disruptions
- Review & Monitor Action Plan Progress to minimize short term impact of Unplanned Disruptions
- Analyze RCA & create Risk Mitigation Plans to avoid such disruptions in the future
- Align Operations/ Process & Business Teams and Create Proposals & Action Plans
- Monitor the progress of Risk Mitigation Plans for its successful execution
- Participate in Periodic S&OP meetings
Capacity & Cost Budget Planning
- Define Annual & 3 Year Capacity Plan for Budget Planning
- Review Plant Performance and Action Plans to meet the Budget
- Review Cost Budget Plan created for Plant Divisions & Zones
People Relationships
- Work Closely with Operations, Process, Technology & Business Functions
- Develop and maintain Effective Relationships with the stakeholders
- Align & support Cross-functional Teams to meet the desired objectives
- Establish Team level information & communication systems
- Draft correspondence, Prepare agendas for meetings, briefing materials and presentations, as needed
