Job Description

Cloud DevOps Engineer - P2

A technical focused background with 2 years of broad infrastructure, scripting and JEE / n-tier application infrastructure experience. An aptitude to problem solve and take on new skills and technologies. Good client facing and communication skills.

Will report through to the UK Technical PS team, working primarily in the Dev/Ops technical domains of our AWS Cloud Hosting operation and with need to be able to perform customer facing and/or level 2 support duties where necessary. Focus will be on the AWD product set, so knowledge and experience with the AWD product from technical and functional perspective would be beneficial.

Primarily 9-5 local time but UK hours and weekend work will be required on regular occasions.

Required: Technical IT experience (min 2 yrs), problem solving aptitude, customer facing/soft skills, motivated enthusiastic and committed,

Desired: AWD product knowledge desired, automation scripting (e.g. Terraform, Jenkins, Shell, Groovy etc.), AWS experience and certification, PL/SQL, JBoss experience.
